Terranevo Nuts

Pine nuts are an excellent source of healthy fats, particularly monounsaturated fats, which support heart health. They are rich in magnesium, zinc, iron, and vitamin E, which contribute to energy production, immune function, and skin health.

These tiny seeds are also packed with antioxidants, including lutein, which benefits eye health, and they provide plant-based protein, making them a great addition to vegetarian and vegan diets. Their high levels of pinolenic acid help promote satiety, potentially aiding in weight management.

Process

Pine nuts are little seeds that grow inside pinecones. They have a mild flavor that pairs equally well with meats, vegetables, and desserts. Pine nut harvesters must remove the pinecones and dry them in the sun for days to access the inner pine nuts. We are using specialized, advanced, and the World's top-class technology machines for shelling, and cracking with no damage to pine nut Kernels that will come off pine nut hulls and flow to gravity tables when pine nut is shaken by sizing decks.

Grading

Grading involves sorting pine nuts based on their size, color, and quality. This process ensures that only nuts of uniform size and quality are further processed, enhancing the overall appearance and market value of the final product.

Shelling

Shelling is the process of removing the hard outer shell or hull from the pine nuts to extract the edible kernel inside. This can be done using mechanical shelling machines or manually, depending on the scale of production and the type of pine nut being processed.

Roasting

Roasting enhances the flavor and aroma of pine nuts while also improving their texture. The nuts are typically roasted in ovens or dry roasting machines at controlled temperatures until they reach the desired level of golden brown color and nutty flavor.

Sorting

Sorting entails separating any foreign materials such as debris, twigs, or damaged nuts from the batch of pine nuts. This step is crucial for ensuring the purity and cleanliness of the final product.

Cleaning

Cleaning involves removing any remaining shell fragments, dust, or other impurities from the shelled pine nuts. This step may include processes such as air blowing, sieving, or passing the nuts through vibrating screens to ensure they are free from contaminants.

Packing

Packing is the final step in the process, where the processed pine nuts are packaged into suitable containers for distribution and sale. This may involve packaging them in vacuum-sealed bags, cans, or other airtight containers to preserve their freshness and quality during storage and transportation
